In the true spirit of the season, Christmas in Romney proudly delivered a $1,500 donation to the Romney Food Pantry this week — a heartfelt contribution made possible by the incredible support of our community.
This donation was raised during our Trivia Night & Empty Bowls Fundraiser held on October 24th, an evening filled with laughter, creativity, and compassion. The event featured handcrafted pottery bowls made by local artists, a delicious meal donated by generous local businesses, and a lively trivia competition that brought neighbors and friends together — all for a meaningful cause.
Sonja Embrey and Keri Shreve presented the check on behalf of Christmas in Romney, sharing gratitude for the continued support that makes events like this so impactful.
“We’re incredibly thankful for everyone who came out to support the event,” said Embrey. “Our small-town community has such a big heart, and this donation will help provide meals for families in need during the holidays.”
As Christmas in Romney continues to grow, so does our mission — to celebrate the joy of the holidays while giving back to those who make our community so special.
Stay tuned for more ways to get involved as we celebrate the holiday season with parades, tree displays, light contests, and events that bring the magic of Christmas to life in Romney.
