Christmas in Romney is a collaborative effort that unites volunteers, the Town of Romney, and various community sponsors.  This month-long celebration is designed to bring the joy of the holiday season to our community. This festive event brings everyone together for a magical holiday experience. Our picturesque town comes alive with a massive Christmas tree and beautiful decorations that adorn businesses throughout Romney.

Other events offered during Christmas in Romney include a mesmerizing Festival of Trees, an outdoor Christkindl Market, a parade, and breakfast with Santa all the while the Potomac Eagle embarks on a captivating winter wonderland journey along the Potomac River.  Our events bring families from all around to celebrate the season together.  Visitors have commented that Christmas in Romney is a scene straight out of a Hallmark movie.

This year we hope to make this event bigger and better than ever with an added day for the Christkindl Market, a dog pageant, and of course more decorations.
