FESTIVAL OF TREES

Adopt-a-Tree Application & Information

There are three different ways to participate in the Festival of Trees. 1) Adopt and decorate a tree. 2) Adopt and procure your own group to decorate the tree for you. 3) Make a monetary donation. Adoptees are responsible for providing their own decorations.

When decorating your tree, please follow these guidelines:

You will be provided one live tree that will already be set up and ready to decorate. A sign will be provided, labeling each tree with your name and/or logo. Trees are property of Christmas in Romney and are to remain on the property.

  1. Get Creative! Come up with a theme for your tree and have fun with it (themes are not necessary).

  2. Displays must be durable and of a quality that will last for the duration of the event.

  3. Please bring any materials, supplies and equipment that may needed to decorate your tree (zip ties for ornaments, etc.)

  4. Please, no paper or glass ornaments.

  5. Trees MUST BE DECORATED between November 25, 2023 through Noon on December 1, 2023.

  6. All decorations will remain on the trees through January 3, 2024 and MUST be removed by January 7, 2024. Any decorations and materials not removed by this date will become property of Christmas in Romney.

  7. Please clean up your space after decorating.

  8. The Town of Romney and the West Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind are not responsible for are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
